Over the past several years, we’ve been expanding our business and our services. When we launched V-COMM 28 years ago, we did most of our work directly with wireless carriers and telecom operators. Today, we are working in multiple market segments, such as with Neutral Host Providers, Enterprise Companies, Healthcare Organizations, Government Agencies, Transit Authorities, Electrical Contractors, and Utility Companies to name a few. Our success comes from leveraging the reputation we’ve built over the years in engineering professional and high-performing wireless networks.

While we will always serve our traditional markets, V-COMM has become a well-known expert in designing and repairing public safety radio communications systems, also known as Emergency Responder Radio Communications Systems (ERRCS).  Our goal is to create safer communities for first responders and the general public. Fire codes for public safety radio coverage date back to 2009, but they only recently gained traction and they are now required for every new or renovated building.

V-COMM first started working in public safety more than 20 years ago. We have worked closely with states, counties, and municipalities to support their P25 Systems. It was a natural expansion for us to provide this same knowledge and experience to the in-building coverage needed for buildings in these same states, counties, and municipalities. Our clients and the government officials, known as Authority Having Jurisdictions (AHJs) who ensure compliance with building and fire codes know that when we submit a design, it will be right. We make the AHJs’ jobs easier because we speak their language, and we pride ourselves on getting approval on the first inspection.

So, as we reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, we extend heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional employees and our dedicated partners for their contributions to V-COMM’s continued success and growth. With the foundation you’ve diligently laid, we now stand on the brink of an even more promising and safer future.
